Forestry Operations since 1984
History
Originally established in 1984 as a reforestation company, Dorsey Contracting Inc. planted millions of trees in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario.
Over the years we were involved in many aspects of silviculture including site preparation, tree planting and pre-commercial brush thinning.
We established a reputation for quality, excellence and safety within the industry and maintained our certification with Safe Workplace Ontario (SWO) from 2003 - 2023
Site Preparation
From 1995 to 2023, site preparation work was the main company activity, operating John Deere skidders equipped with seeders and Donaren hydraulic disc trenchers to site prepare ground across North Western Ontario. All silviculture services ceased in 2023.
